Michael R. Schaefer
Firm partner Michael R Schaefer chairs the firm's Litigation Department and focuses his practice in the areas of trust and estate litigation, probate litigation, general trial practice, real estate, construction, debtor-creditor rights, insurance, corporations, partnerships, and condemnation.
Mr. Schaefer received his Bachelor of Arts degree from San Diego State University and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1977, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California; U.S. District Court, Central District of California; U.S. Tax Court; U.S. Claims Court; U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit; and the U.S. Supreme Court.
